Wellness brand Savvy has expanded its portfolio with Calm Water, a ready-to-drink to combat stress and mental focus.

The product’s profile combines high doses of L-theanine and magnesium, schisandra berry extract and prebiotics designed to regulate the nervous system, relieve physical tension, and support emotional stability.

“Many calming beverages still work by dulling the nervous system, which can make it harder to function,” said Mark Curry, Savvy’s founder.

“What makes it different is that we use active ingredients at scientifically-proven doses that allow people to genuinely feel clearer, more capable and less tense without being slowed down, it’s literally the feeling of zen and focused energy in a drink.”

He said Calm Water uses higher active levels of its ingredients than other functional drinks or powdered calm products.

The Calm Water range, packaged in cans, is launching with two flavour options: Passionfruit and Lemonade.

Savvy Calm Water is designed to support the body’s stress response at a physiological level, helping people feel calmer, with less stress, less anxiety and more focus and feelings of being in control, or ‘in the zone’.

The formulation targets the stress hormone, cortisol regulation, while incorporating ingredients linked to nervous system support, including GABA, a neurotransmitter (brain chemical) known to improve cognitive function and mental clarity by reducing feelings of overstimulation.

These mechanisms support mental performance, mental health and emotional steadiness for both men and women navigating high-pressure environments, from intensive work roles and exam periods to the constant load of parenthood and modern life.

“For women experiencing hormonal stress, fatigue and cognitive strain, the issue is rarely tiredness. It is about feeling overwhelmed while still needing to function,” said Ranga Premaratna, nutrition scientist.

Savvy Calm Water is available on the company’s website and at selected retailers nationwide.
