Chateau Tanunda has released its special Limited Reserve Grand Barossa Shiraz Magnum to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

According to the company, the wine is crafted from various Shiraz vineyard sites throughout the Barossa. It has blackberry, plum, and black pepper aromas, with spicy, dark berry flavours on the palate.

Chateau Tanunda’s Lunar New Year release is the first since China lifted its three-year-old wine tariffs on Australia earlier this year.

“The Year of the Snake edition continues this legacy, showcasing an intricately designed label that captures the grace and mystique of the snake, a symbol of wisdom and determination,” said Michelle Geber, second-generation MD of Chateau Tanunda.

The Limited Reserve Grand Barossa Shiraz 2023 – ‘Year of the Snake’ Magnum retails for $79 online and at select independent stores throughout all states except WA.
