Borrowdale’s free range bacon has launched in Australia, with its release coinciding with national bacon week this week.
Australian Pork Certified free range, Borrowdale bacon is also antibiotic and hormone free, and has the highest level of RSPCA approved farming.
Australians reportedly consume nearly 23.5kg of bacon each year, with around 75 per cent imported from overseas, however, Borrowdale free range pork is sourced from a single family owned farm, situated near Goondiwindi on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
Borrowdale bacon is now available in selected retailers including Thomas Dux and the Australian Meat Emporium.
