Paw Paw wins international award

Screen Shot 2015-08-13 at 4.15.31 PMAustralian made Qsilica Paw Paw Rescue Ointment has won a prestigious natural beauty accolade at the annual Janey Loves Platinum Awards in the United Kingdom.

It is the second award bestowed on the product in as many years, after being named winner of Best Lip Balm in the UK’s Beauty Shortlist Awards in 2014.

The awards, founded by natural beauty expert, Janey Lee Grace, showcases the leading organic products in the market, and it was in the skin saviour category where Australian made Paw Paw Rescue Ointment was named joint winner.

The ointment contains 50mg of fresh fermented paw paw, a therapeutic ingredient that has been found highly beneficial for wound healing and to promote smooth skin.

It also includes the brand’s hero beauty mineral, colloidal silica, as well as shea butter, beeswax, and macadamia oil.

“Qsilica Paw Paw Rescue Ointment has become a much loved beauty go to for its healing and nourishing properties,” says Shelley Atkin, naturopath.

“Consumers are demanding that effectiveness goes hand in hand with the best natural ingredients. This is something Qsilica delivers, as well as transparency—all ingredients are listed on the label.”

Qsilica Paw Paw Rescue ointment retails at $8.95 RRP, and is available from pharmacies, health food stores, and online at qsilica.com.au
