The awards, held at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney’s Paddington, celebrated creative and technical excellence in the use of visual effects and animation in the creation of screened work.
The brand’s advertisement, which won the Commercials Animation category, features the daily struggle of the Borneo orangutan, and is part of an integrated program by company which seeks to raise awareness surrounding sustainable forestry practices, supported through their partnership with WWF Australia.
“We’re extremely pleased to accept this prominent industry award. In collaboration with our creative agencies and WWF Australia, we developed a powerful animation that would be impactful and truly resonate with our consumers to support such a great cause,” said Kimberley Finsten, marketing manager, Kimberly-Clark Australia.
Other award categories of the night included best feature film animation, commercials vfx, music video, education and infographics, web viral, TV series, and short film.
