Dr. Oetker makes baking a piece of cake

unnamed-1Dr. Oetker has launched a new baking and decorating range.

The 34 products in the range include basics such as baking powder and gel food colours; sprinkles; three kinds of icings (designer, ready to roll, and writing); edible cupcake cases, and even wafer daisies.

Andrea Stieg, executive business development manager, Dr. Oetker Australia, said Dr. Oetker is excited to offer an extensive range of baking products to suit every baking need in the kitchen.

“There are ingredients such as bicarbonate of soda and baking powder in conveniently packaged sachets for those who bake, but not every week. And for the less experienced baker, we have simple to use products such as designer icing pouches with decorating nozzles, ready to roll icing and wafer butterflies that add that special touch.

“We hope that bakers of all ages and experience can bake even better with the Dr. Oetker range. Some of our products contain recipe leaflets to help inspire people to bake more often,” said Stieg.

Products are priced between $1.10 and $5.00 (RRP) each, and are available from Coles.

The promotional campaign to support the product range is kicking off this week with an appearance at the ‘Cake Bake and Sweets Show’ in Melbourne, from October)  23 until 25, with decorating sessions for visitors, demonstrations, and sample giveaways.

This will be followed by sponsorship of the ‘Great Australian Bake Off’, airing on Foxtel; TVCs on Network Ten and Foxtel in November and December; and a number of instore Christmas displays at Coles.
