Vege Chips’ new range

vege-chips-1Australian gluten free snack manufacturer, the Vege Chip Company, has introduced a new range of Super Food Crisps to its Deli Crisp range.

Available in Coles and Woolworths, the three newest flavour varieties include Vege Deli Chia Crisps, made from chia, galangal (ginger), red chilli and green shallot; Vege Deli Turmeric & Cheese Crisps, created with turmeric powder and cheese; and Vege Deli Lentil Crisps which is a lentil and potato blend.

Free from nuts, egg, soy, petrochemicals, MSG, flavour enhancer, and artificial colours, the range is aimed specifically at adults wanting a healthier alternative to traditional snack options.

With more than one in 100 Australians suffering from a gluten intolerance, consumers are increasingly paying more attention to achieving a balanced diet free from overly processed ingredients- an aspiration which the company says is the foundation of its business model.

“The Vege Chip Company is more than just a snack business that creates healthy and innovative products, it’s also a way of life for the team,”said Rob Crisfield, MD,  the Vege Chip Company.

“It’s about incorporating our passion for health and wellness into our work, and educating consumers about what they’re putting into their bodies, and encouraging them to make the right choices for their families and for themselves with a balanced diet,” Crisfield continued.

The original Vege Chip product range is available Australia wide from leading supermarkets in the snack aisle, as well as health food stores, chemists and selected corner stores for $3.39. The new Super Food Crisp range is now available in the health food section of Coles and Woolworths nationally, retailing at $4.95.
