POPAI Awards 2016 expanded

MARKETING@RETAIL AWARDS 2016POPAI’s Marketing at Retail Awards has expanded entry categories to cover more brands, agencies, and now – individuals, to honour their best work.

POPAI General Manager Lee McClymont said the award program continues to evolve in line with macro trends, innovation and growth in the industry.

“In 2015 we introduced People’s Choice to allow the public to engage with the program through online, mobile and social media. We introduced the ‘Shopper Experience’ stream to reflect the shift into total retail – every moment, every touchpoint, everywhere.”

“In 2016, we are introducing awards for outstanding individuals. Our new Retail Marketer of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Awards offer recognition of the contribution of pioneering individuals and thought leaders in the industry.”

McClymont said the 2016 POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards has a wide range of entry categories in the Physical Store stream, in line with POPAI’s long heritage at the forefront of best practice In-store Marketing.


Entries opened on April 15 and will close on July 15. Winners will be announced at the POPAI Gala Awards Dinner on September 15 at Doltone House Hyde Park, Sydney.
