Ansell donates condoms at Mardi Gras

Skyn CondomsAnsell distributed over 50,000 free SKYN Condoms and lubricant sachets during the Mardi Gras, Fair Day event held at the Camperdown Memorial West Park in Sydney yesterday.

Recent UNSW reports found that 26 per cent of gay men in Australia have 10 or more sexual partners in the last six months, with a substantial shift in consistent condom use practices to non-condom based.

The condom maker hopes Aussies will see it as the safest and most effective HIV prevention method available in the market. The #feeleverything Mind Art Station was also set up where Aussies were able to create digital artworks based on their emotions.

In the past decade Ansell has donated more than 2.5 million condoms to various organisations including charities, medical clinics, crisis accommodation, hostels and school sexual education programs.

Last year, SKYN contributing $1 of sales from its SKYN Original 20 Pack Condoms to beyondblue throughout October and November, helping the charity provide information and support to men when the going gets tough and promoting good mental health for all.

One dollar of Coles’ sales from Ansell’s LifeStyles Smooth Personal Lubricant was donated to the McGrath Foundation during November, helping fund the charity’s breast care nurse program.

Ansell’s Sexual Wellness Division includes LifeStyles and SKYN Condoms, personal lubricant products and AmeleTM feminine hygiene products. Ansell products are available at Coles, Woolworths, pharmacies and leading convenience retailers nationwide and online.
