Coles, Casey Donovan collabs on supermarket campaign

Casey Donovan ColesColes’ Down Down campaign is now being represented by Aussie singer Casey Donovan.

The supermarket giant now dropped the price on 34 San Remo pasta products, some by up to 25 per cent and Coles Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies, which sells now at $3 per box.

Coles’ chief customer officer, Simon McDowell, said the grocery was excited for Donovan to join the team and sing about the great value at Coles as the company is more focused than ever on making groceries even more affordable.

“[Donovan] is one of Australian’s favourite entertainers so she’s a perfect fit for her to lead our campaign and bring her unique sound and personality. We hope our customers will enjoy dancing Down Down our aisles while picking up lower prices,” Dowell said.

“We know families are shopping on a budget so they need to get value right across the store. Pasta is a go-to for many families that are busy and on a budget so we hope by dropping prices by up to 25 percent we can help make a real difference to their shopping bill.”

“I feel honoured and privileged to be the new face of Down Down at Coles. Not only is Coles the one stop shop to get Down Down savings but [the supermarket] also does a lot of fabulous things for charities and to support local communities. I love that!,” said Donovan.

“With the cost of living so expensive, it is important that everyone can buy their groceries at an affordable price and still have time and money to do the fun things they love.”

Launched in 2010, Coles’ Down Down campaign has been synonymous with dropping prices and Donovan is hitting the high notes to remind Australians that customers will continue to save by shopping at Coles.

Pasta is a key ingredient in shopping baskets as Australians purchase more than 46 million kilograms each year, with families with kids the largest consumers buying 8.4 kilograms each per year.

This latest drop means Coles customers will save more on their favourite items in the supermarket and brings the total products added to Every Day low pricing over the last 12 months to more than 1000.
