Gelatissimo to collaborate with supplier

GelatissimoThe Byron Bay Cookie Company (BBCC) has inked a deal with ice-cream retailer Gelatissimo on a new limited edition flavour pegged at school holidays in October.

The product will be available from Saturday until the end of next month and combines BBCC’s dotty cookie crumble with a dairy gelato that’s dotted with rainbow mini buttons.

Gelatissimo has coincided the launch with a colouring-in competition for kids, running in 17 stores throughout NSW. All purchases of the new flavour in participating stores will receive a template, then go in the running to win a dotta cookie jar and a 1 litre tub of cookie gelato.

“We had a lot of fun experimenting with such an iconic cookie to develop a gelato that would be packed with flavour and fun. We are pleased to be working with Byron Bay Cookie Company to bring to life such an exciting collaboration,” said Amanda Massingham, marketing manager for Gelatissimo.

The Dotty Gelato is available in either a cup, cone, shake, donut or take home pack for sharing, while stocks lasts in all Gelatissimo stores in Australia, Singapore and the Philippines.

“As our all time best-selling cookie flavour, the Dotty has always been a crowd pleaser. Our collaboration with Gelatissimo will allow cookie lovers of all ages to discover a new way to enjoy their favourite cookie,” said Emilie Emond, marketing manager for Byron Bay Cookie Company.
