Rok Kombucha creates new flavours

ROKRok Kombucha has unveiled two new flavours, Passionfruit Rap and Lemon Lick this summer.

It is a raw, organic, kombucha that is hand-crafted in Western Australia’s Margaret River. Enjoyed around the world for thousands of years, kombucha is a fermented tea beverage that has recently resurfaced in the market.

Rok is available in Classic Booch, Berry Beats, Ginger Pop with two new exciting flavours Passionfruit Rap and Lemon Licks.

Rok was created by husband and wife duo Trent and Amanda Carroll whose shared passion for delicious, healthy beverages lead to their discovery of kombucha. Following a successful career as an AFL player, Trent turned to winemaking, carving a successful career path as an award-winning winemaker and wine show judge.

Not forgetting his background in sport, Trent continued to follow health trends and in 2015, upon searching for a natural relief for chronic back pain stemming for his former career as a professional sportsman, Trent stumbled across kombucha. Combining his expertise as a qualified winemaker and extensive knowledge of the fermentation and brewing along with Amanda’s business and marketing prowess, rok launched in August 2016.

In a little over a year rok is now stocked in all leading health food stores, specialty grocers, independent supermarkets, cafes, universities and airports in Western Australia. It is also rapidly expanding its presence on the East Coast with hundreds of stockists in NSW, QLD and Victoria.

Rok Kombucha was awarded runner up Best New Retail Product at the 2017 Australian Fine Food Expo. The team behind rok are passionate about creating an authentic, premium kombucha that is free from sweeteners, nasty flavourings and additives and bursting with gut-loving probiotics. Each bottle of rok contains millions of beneficial yeast, bacteria and live digestive enzymes, making it a living superfood.

It is brewed using the highest quality white and green tea – which are richer in antioxidants than black tea – filtered, pure Margaret River water, raw organic sugar and raw, cold pressed juices for flavour. Refreshing and bubbly, rok is all natural, preservative free, low in sugar and unpasteurised. This means the bacteria and digestive enzymes that make kombucha so beneficial for gut health and immune support are alive and potent. Rok Kombucha helps to decrease inflammation, normalise gut processes, support immune function and boost energy naturally.
