New player for energy drinks market

KanGuruAustralia’s first locally owned and manufactured energy drink has hit the market.

The brainchild of Queensland-based ophthalmologist Dr David Kitchen, Kanguru energy drink is scientifically created with five natural botanicals and no sugar.

Kitchen spent over four years perfecting the recipe – a process he describes as a “technical challenge” that involved thousands of hours and hundreds of samples.

“I drank coffee and energy drinks but I felt there had to be something better,” Kitchen said. “I’ve created an evidence-based drink that offers tangible benefits, using natural botanicals with an anti-crash result.”

Ingredients include Korean Red Ginseng (as distinct from Panax Ginseng), Yerba Mate, Guarana, Schisandra and Green Tea, as well as vitamins, Taurine and Caffeine and natural flavours.

Kanguru has a RRP of $4.95 and is already available in 131 stockists nationwide.
