Arnott’s take the cake

Arnotts_Cakes_Range_03_HiResAustralia’s favourite biscuit company, Arnott’s is taking a step in a new direction by transforming some of their most popular flavours into mini cakes.

The range is inspired by their classic biscuits and in some cases includes the same ingredients.

The new range will come in four different flavours: Caramel Crowns, Mint Slice, Iced VoVo and Monte Carlo.

The bakers have promised that customers can expect the same gooey caramel and peppermint cream filling that they get from the biscuit versions.

The Iced VoVo cake is a vanilla sponge, topped with pale pink fondant, with sweet red raspberry filling and sprinkled with desiccated coconut. While the Monte Carlo is made with golden syrup and coconut, featuring a vibrant raspberry jam swirl and vanilla crème filling.

Arnott’s brand manager Ally Doubé said, “Arnott’s has been a favourite in Aussie homes for over 150 years. We are proud of our baking heritage and the love people have for our brands. We are often asked why we don’t bake cakes, so we dug into our flavour archives for inspiration from some of our most loved and iconic brands. We mixed these together with our passion for baking to create a range of mini cakes for every occasion!”

The range is available exclusively at Coles in the bakery or packaged bread section.
