Mars Australia, Campbell Arnott’s recognised as best companies to work in Australia

Mars Australia officeMars Australia has been named the best place to work in manufacturing, and made the top ten overall list of best places to work. The FMCG giant took the 6th spot at the Best Places to Work Study for 2018 – the company behind M&M’s, Maltesers, and Pedigree. Food company Campbell Arnott’s took the 10th spot this year.

Last year, Mars Australia ranked number one overall in the Best Places to Work Study while Campbell Arnott’s took the fourth spot.

“In addition to producing some of Australia’s best loved brands, we’re very proud to be recognised as one of the  country’s best workplaces,” Mars Wrigley Confectionery general manager, Andrew Loader said.

“This fantastic result is thanks to the 2,000 people who work across our confectionery, petcare and food segments and help create a workplace culture that is purpose-driven, collaborative, flexible and fun. Being involved in the Best Places to Work Study helps us listen to what our associates say we’re doing really well, and where there are opportunities to do better. We’re always striving to create an environment that allows people to learn and grow and gives them exciting and rewarding careers.”

“This is an exciting, transformative and competitive time for companies. Companies which have made the 2018 study have risen to this challenge and exemplify workplace culture excellence,” Great Place to Work Australia managing director Zrinka Lovrencic said.

Best Places to Work is an annual study conducted to recognise the 50 ‘Best in Class Employers’ nationally. It reviews businesses’ workplace culture including trust, pride in work and colleague camaraderie.
