Pepsi’s Drinkfinity revolutionises iced coffee game

drinkfinity coffee pepsiPepsi’s startup company Drinkfinity has launched its new Charge Coffee Infusion Pods. The soft drinks giant said it features a “Peel, Pop and Shake” innovation.

“We are iced coffee enthusiasts here at Drinkfinity and just like many consumers, we were looking for new ways to make iced coffee quickly in the morning,” said Hernan Marina, vice president, Global Business Innovation, Drinkfinity. “Each coffee flavour was designed for consumers to prepare and customise with ease, while preserving the essence of the classic Americano.”

The new coffee drink innovation allows consumers to mix dry and liquid ingredients with water, add creamer and pour the chilled coffee blend in a reusable and BPA-free Drinkfinity Vessel. The Drinkfinity Coffee Infusion Pod has two flavours of Americano Charge and Cinnamon Americano Charge. Both contains two espresso shots of Colombian coffee. Americano Charge is entirely unsweetened while Cinnamon Americano Charge contains cinnamon and is sweetened with cane sugar and Stevia leaf.

The Drinkfinity Pods have four ‘modes’ including Charge with caffeine; Flow with vitamins or fiber; Renew with sports-drink levels of electrolytes and Chill with botanicals. The startup drink company also has created 16 unique flavour blends that are made up with chia seeds, ginger root extract and concentrated fruit juices.

The Drinkfinity Charge Coffee Infusion Pods cost $1.63 a “pop” and come in packs of four (for $6.50) and the Drinkfinity.com. For every purchase of Drinkfinity in the US, the drinks company will donate $1 to Water.org to help provide one year of safe water for one person in the developing world, up to $100,000.
