US retail giant Walmart has taken grocery delivery a step further with employees soon able to stock the fridge as part of its delivery service.
Walmart employees will use smart entry technology and a wearable camera, allowing customers to control access to their homes and watch the deliveries remotely.
Walmart said that its employees will undergo extensive training to ensure that they enter customers’ homes with “the same care and respect” they have when they visit a family or friends house.
Many expressed concern online about the invasive nature of the new delivery offer.
