Australian biscuit brand Arnott’s has collaborated with Bega’s Picky Picky Peanuts to create a barbecue snack with a nod to Shapes.
The Picky Picky Peanuts inspired by Arnott’s Shapes Barbecue hit retailers on Wednesday in a 200g pack.
Shannon Wright, Arnott’s marketing manager – flavoured snacks, said this particular flavour has always been a popular choice with consumers.
“Arnott’s Shapes have been a crowd favourite for decades and have always believed in the power of flavour – especially flavour you can see! We are excited to bring this collaboration with Picky Picky Peanuts to Shapes fans, who are some of the most passionate food consumers in the country!” she said.
Arnott’s research found that barbecue came out on top as the country’s favourite flavour in 2019
Toni Cohen, marketing manager, Picky Picky Peanuts said the peanuts used in their products are “homegrown and precisely picked by Australian peanut farmers”.
Picky Picky Peanuts also previously partnered with Vegemite on the Mitey Aussie Nuts snack. Other flavours in the Picky Picky range include Sweet Chilli and Lime; Savoury Honey Roasted and Salt and Pepper flavours.
The Picky Picky Peanuts range inspired by Arnott’s Shapes Barbecue is available at Coles, independent grocers and online Australian-wide.
