Woolworths is to cut prices on more than 140 products from tomorrow until Christmas in what the company describes as “a multimillion dollar investment”.
Customers will be able to buy Christmas staples, cookware ranges and items for entertaining family and friends at prices reduced by between 10 and 25 per cent.
“Christmas is about coming together with loved ones, sharing great food and celebrating, but we know it will be very different for many Australians this festive season,” said Paul Harker, director of buying at Woolworth. “It’s been a challenging year and customers will be looking for ways to save more during what’s typically an expensive season.”
“Many customers also plan their Christmas shop months in advance and gradually stock their pantry to avoid last minute expenses. These dropped prices will help them save on their shopping right through til Christmas Eve,” he added.
The price drops are applied both online and offline and valid until December 24.
