Arnott’s says four new Tim Tam flavours will debut in Australia next year, with the first going on sale in January.
The first new release is Murray River Salted Double Choc, the latest in what the biscuit giant describes as the Tim Tam Crafted Collection.
The company says it has sourced “pure salt flakes from the pristine mineral waters of the Murray Darling River Basin to create a new sweet and salty indulgent experience”. The salt flakes are mixed with a chocolate sauce and cocoa chocolate cream before being sandwiched between two biscuits and covered in milk chocolate.
More than 670 million Tim Tam biscuits are made annually in Australia, with 3000 a minute coming off the Sydney production line.
