Confectionery brand KitKat has created two summer chocolate wafer flavours – ice cream-inspired Mint Choc Chip, and Caramel Crisp. Both are available in KitKat block and 4-finger KitKat bar.
The Mint Choc Chip wafer fingers are covered in mint-flavoured chocolate and topped with Swiss cocoa crisps, with a milk chocolate base, while the Caramel Crisp has wafer fingers covered in caramel flavoured chocolate, topped with caramel flakes, and with white chocolate base.
“There are two things we know Australians love – summer and ice-cream,” said Nestle head of marketing confectionery Joyce Tan.
She said mint and caramel continue to be favourite flavours among consumers.
The new KitKat lines are sold in all major supermarkets and selected convenience stores.
