Gatorade launched in sugar-free form

Sports-themed beverage brand Gatorade has added a sugar-free option, Gatorade No Sugar, to its existing portfolio.

The non-sugar range comes in 600ml packaging, featuring three flavours: Glacier Freeze, Berry and Orange.

“The Gatorade range is backed by science and is individually tailored to meet the needs of all consumers from the gym goer to the elite athlete,” said Wendy Jeffrey, nutrition scientist at PepsiCo ANZ.

According to Jeffrey, Gatorade No Sugar is designed for active consumers who train at low to moderate intensity, while the original Gatorade is suitable for longer duration and higher intensity activity.

Gatorade No Sugar is available in Coles and the P&C channel at RRP $3.65. The product will be available for purchase in all channels nationally from April.
