Aussie Vodka label Idle Hour launches premium RTD range

Australian vodka brand Idle Hour has launched a native-inspired premium ready-to-drink vodka that blends local Australian flavours in its award-winning Idle Hour rye vodka with soda water.

The range features local flavours including Passionfruit & Lemon Myrtle, Wild Peach & Grapefruit, Lime & Bramblebush, and Apple & Ginger.

The global market for vodka is expanding and in Australia ready-to-drink mixed spirits are more in demand. Vodka consumption has increased by 6.7 per cent year on year across Australia.

“Vodka is on the verge of a massive resurgence and we have created something truly unique for the Australian market,” said co-founder and director, Ewen Pettit.

He calls this the ‘vodka renaissance’ and hopes Idle Hour RTD will be on the frontier. “We sought to bring something new and inspired to Australians this season”, he said.

The 330 ml cans are designed to appeal to both genders with each unit offering 5 per cent ABV, 100 calories and zero added sugar.

Idle Hour’s new RTD range is now available across the country through Craft Revolution and selected wholesalers.
