Sunny Queen Farms launches frozen egg-based range

Australian egg brand Sunny Queen Farms has rolled out a new frozen range of ready-to-eat snacks.

The new line-up comprises Sunny Queen Farms Omelette Roll ($4), a hand-rolled omelette turned wrap; Mini Fritters ($7.50) in two flavours, Corn & Zucchini and Pumpkin, Spinach & Fetta; Protein Bites ($7.50) which combine parmesan and caramelised onion protein in a light and fluffy quick eat and gluten-free Egg Wraps (four wraps for $8.50).

Isabelle Dench, Sunny Queen’s GM of marketing and innovation, said the brand is “challenging” the perception of frozen foods as being unhealthy and containing little nutritional value.

“As we become increasingly time-poor, consumers are prioritising their health and wellbeing while seeking ways to incorporate nutritious and time-saving meal solutions into their lives, without compromising on taste.

“Our newest range of products are a great source of protein and features a 3.5-star Health Star Rating.”

She added the products are rich in nutrients including vitamins, proteins and minerals. They are made with 100 per cent Australian free-range eggs with no artificial colours or flavours.

All products are available across Woolworths supermarkets nationwide except Egg Wraps, which are only available in Queensland.
