Nespresso Australia has launched two new coffee blends, inspired by Australian tastes and based on consumer insights.
The new Barista Creations for Milk range is designed for the Vertuo Next coffee machine and features three blends:
Bianco Forte and Bianco Doppio: Both offer an aromatic blend of lightly roasted Arabica beans from Kenya, Nicaragua and Colombia, revealing caramel notes and a smooth texture. Nestle says it pairs well with larger cappuccinos and flat white coffees.
Bianco Piccolo: A blend of Arabica coffee beans from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia and China, created specifically for plant-based milks. Nespresso says the coffee’s smoothness complements cappuccinos, latte macchiatos and flat whites.
Nespresso’s coffee ambassador, Mitch Monaghan, co-created the range to better suit Australian palates.
“We wanted to develop a new global range of cafe-quality coffees specifically for milk, with a velvety texture that could push through the milk to deliver an exceptionally smooth beverage.”
Monaghan added Australia’s cafe culture is largely “anchored” by milk coffees with research revealing that about 91 per cent of the country’s coffee drinkers opt for milk in their to-go coffee orders.
“High-intensity coffees are very popular in Australia because they retain their strength and depth of flavour when paired with milk.”
Customers can sample the new Barista Creations for Milk coffees at Nespresso boutiques or purchase products online.
