Family-owned avocado producer Avofresh has expanded its offering with the launch of ready-to-eat guacamole.

“We’ve made it fresh, so you don’t have to,” said the company.

Made on De Paoli’s family farm just outside Bundaberg, Queensland, the guacamole is made from hand-picked cold-pressed avocados, a hint of onion, coriander, chilli, lime, and a sprinkle of sea salt.

The dip comes in a resealable tub, is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and contains no artificial flavours or colours.

Avofresh founder David De Paoli said the secret to good guacamole is how the fruit is processed.

“When avocados are at the perfect ripeness, we peel and pit them. We then use a unique cold-pressed, high-pressure technology to deliver AvoFresh products, which allow us to retain the fresh, natural taste and texture without additives, artificial flavours or colours,” he said.

The company says the avocado dip is perfect for complementing tacos, nachos, burritos, or an easy-to-whip lunch alternative.

“Grab some crackers or fresh sourdough, slather with AvoFresh Guacamole, top with some sliced tomato or a sprinkling of cheese, and you have a delicious healthy lunch in seconds.”

AvoFresh was established in 2010 when father and son – David and Trent De Paoli – said they saw an opportunity to provide customers with quick and convenient avocados.

AvoFresh guacamole is available in 160g tubs for RRP$5.50 and can be found in Woolworths and independent supermarkets nationwide.
