Health and wellness company Fiji Kava has appointed ANZ Pharma as its exclusive distributor in New Zealand.
ANZ Pharma will distribute the Fiji Kava line of capsules and drinking kava through channels including supermarkets, pharmacies, and specialty food retailers. The contract’s sales performance criteria have a $1.1 million objective for wholesale invoices over the next three years.

An Australian-Fijian company, Fiji Kava focuses on developing natural products based on natural medicine elements that promote muscular relaxation, promote sleep, calm the nerves, and soothe the mind.
Fiji Kava acquired full ownership of the US ready-to-drink kava brand Leilo in October through a share swap deal and a US$1.6 million placement with institutional investors.
