Frozen food company McCain has teamed up with Vegemite to launch snacks combined with the popular spread: Cheesy Vegemite Lil’ Pizzas and Cheesy Vegemite Pizza Pockets.
Designed for after-school snacking, the mini pizzas take just five minutes to prepare in an air fryer or 70 seconds in a microwave.
Sara Black, marketing manager at McCain, said the two brands hope the collaboration will elevate snacking to another level.
“Our new pizza varieties really make for the best bite as you can heat them with ease, all the while enjoying a story-telling session from your young ones.”
“Vegemite is thrilled to be partnering with McCain – to make afternoon snacking that much mitey-er!” added Jessica Hoare, marketing manager at Vegemite.
Cheesy Vegemite Lil’ Pizzas and Cheesy Vegemite Pizza Pocket are now sold through IGA and independent grocers and will launch in Coles and Woolworths in the second half of next month.
