Tasmanian Bakeries has rolled out its range of National Pies-branded frozen single-serve pies in select Woolworth stores nationwide.
The range comprises Chunky Beef, Bacon and Cheese, Classic Beef, and Curried Chicken.
Geraldine Tebbut, CEO at Tasmanian Bakeries, said demand for its product has grown, in line with growing consumer support for Australian businesses.
“All products from our National Pies range are made with the finest Tasmanian and Australian ingredients including chicken from Marion Bay in Tasmania and 100 per cent grass-fed Australian beef,” shared Tebbut.
“Our bakers make our crispy puff pastry in-house from locally-milled Tasmanian flour.”
Tasmanian Bakeries National Pies are available for RRP $3.40 for a 180g pie at select Woolworths stores nationwide.
Tasmanian Bakeries is a family-owned business that has been operating since 1942. In the 2000s, it partnered with several food service and retail providers to bring its products to the mainland, finally making National Pies a national product.
Earlier this year, National Pies introduced a bite-sized pie range.
