Confectionary company Darrell Lea has partnered with cereal and snack brand Kellogg’s to create the Darrell Lea Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes Chocolate Block.
Made with 100 per cent sustainably sourced cocoa, the new chocolate block combines milk chocolate with crunchy cornflakes and peanuts for an “extra layer of crunch” to every bite.
“Aussies have been starting their mornings with Kellogg’s range of tasty breakfast staples for nearly a century now,” said Lili Despotovic, senior marketing manager of Darrell Lea.
“As a brand that has similarly been a confectionery staple for nearly 100 years, Darrell Lea doesn’t just create new chocolate flavours; we give Aussies experiences they can share with friends and family.”
The collaboration marks the third third time Darrell Lea and Kellogg’s have teamed up to create chocolate treats for Aussies.
In September last year, they created the Rice Bubbles Crispy Milk Chocolate Block, followed by the Milk Chocolate Rice Bubbles in February.
“We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Darrell Lea to create a new product that is uniquely Australian and blends two local icons,” said Natasha Sunderland, Kellogg’s Breakfast Marketing Manager – Core Breakfast.
“We can’t wait to hear what Aussies think of the crunchy new flavour when it hits shelves nationwide.”
Darrell Lea Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes Chocolate Block will be available nationwide for RRP AU$5.50 in Coles on July 12 and Woolworths on July 19.
