V Green energy drink gets a refresh after 26 years

Drinks company Frucor Suntory has refreshed the flavour and packaging design of its energy drink brand, V Green.

The company says the refresh comes 26 years after its debut with the new product boasting a smoother and fruitier flavour and the packaging design embodying the “essence of V Energy”.

Allison Yortson, chief marketing officer for Oceania at Frucor Suntory, said the energy drink category is experiencing “impressive growth”.

“The updates to V Green reflect our willingness to continue to innovate and drive the category forward to give consumers what they want.

“By changing V Green, both from a flavour and design perspective, we believe we have met the needs of existing drinkers and new ones.”

V Energy 250ml cans will be the first to don the new look which will followed by a rollout to the entire V range.
