Coca-Cola has partnered with Melbourne restaurants and cafes to offer exclusive specials and promotional deals, marking the launch of the soft drink brand’s Foodmarks campaign in Australia.
Foodmarks is part of Coca-Cola’s ‘A Recipe for Magic’ global campaign and aims to showcase different food landmarks where people can enjoy good food paired with an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
In February, Coca-Cola said around 400 Foodmarks will debut in cities and neighbourhoods worldwide, which can be explored in an interactive map through a partnership with TimeOut.
“Melbourne’s dynamic food scene makes it the ideal location for the debut of Coca-Cola Foodmarks in Australia,” said Kate Miller, MD for South Pacific at The Coca–Cola Company.
“We are proud to launch Coca-Cola Foodmarks in a city as rich in culinary diversity as Melbourne, and we invite everyone to make new food memories with friends, family, and, of course, with a cold Coca-Cola in hand.”
Coca-Cola’s partner restaurants in Melbourne include Hu Tong Dumpling Bar, and Mr Bo with the team from Spicy Fish.
The company is also partnering with local influencers to share their top Foodmarks spots to help other locals and visitors discover good dining places in Melbourne.
Foodmarks first launched in New York City’s Union Square on February 16.
