Parsam Foods has issued a recall for various McCain frozen products due to potential chemical (ethylene oxide) contamination.
The following McCain frozen products with all expiry dates up to and including 22/08/2025 are affected:
- McCain Masala Fries 420g, 1.5kg.
- McCain Veggie Burger Patty 360g.
- McCain Popular Veggie Burger Patty1.2kg.
- McCain Chilli Garlic Potato Bites420g.
- McCain Chilli Garlic Potato Pops1.5kg.
- McCain Aloo Tikki 400g, 1.5kg.
- McCain Veggie Nuggets 325g.
- McCain Veggie Fingers.
The products have been available for sale at Indian Grocery Stores in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC and SA.
Consumers should not eat this product as ethylene oxide may cause illness/injury if consumed.
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
