Australian health-focused company Noshu has launched its first protein bars range, Juicy Fruit & Cream Protein Bars, with 20 per cent “invisible protein”.
The juicy fruit bars, in partnership with Bodiez’ Protein Water, contain 100 calories of protein and come in three flavours: Raspberry & Cream, Mango & Cream, and Peaches & Cream.
According to Noshu, the latest range is gluten-free and produced from natural fruit. It has no nuts and uses natural colours. Low-carb diets can also add the snack to their dietary protein as it has 4g of carbohydrates per bar.
“The first thing you notice when you bite into the Noshu Fruit & Cream bars is that they pack a delicious fruity flavour punch with a smooth and juicy texture,” said Noshu founder and CEO Rachel Bajada.
“We wanted our consumers to be able to feel like they were indulging in a fruit bar, but actually getting the benefit of 20 per cent premium whey protein with very little sugar, carbs and calories.”
Noshu’s Fruit & Cream Protein Bars are available from Woolworths stores nationwide for $8.90 for five bars.
Noshu launched 10 years ago with its low-sugar and low-carb doughnut line and currently has more than 40 products in six grocery categories nationwide.
The company also introduced low-sugar jelly range earlier this year.
