Golden Gaytime enters wellbeing category

Street’s Golden Gaytime has collaborated with health food and supplement company Macro Mike to expand into the health and wellness category.

The deal was handled by Asembl and has resulted in the launch of a limited-edition Golden Gaytime-Inspired Almond Protein Powder available through Macro Mike’s website.

According to the companies, the plant-based protein powder contains more than 23g of protein per serving and tastes like “a delicious creamy thick shake”. It is gluten-free, dairy-free and manufactured in-house at Macro Mike’s facility.

“This limited edition deal not only sees Golden Gaytime again land outside the freezer aisle but sees the Aussie classic ice cream come to tasty life as a smooth, creamy, and delicious plant-based protein powder that rivals dairy-based ones,” said Asembl MD Justin Watson.

Macro Mike founder Mike Kellett further stated that this product would provide a traditional Australian staple while also addressing the nutritional needs of health-conscious customers.

Golden Gaytime-Inspired Almond Protein Powder is priced at $29.95 (240g), $52.95 (400g), and $79.95 (800g).
