Coopers Brewery has teamed up with Australian band Ocean Alley to release a limited-edition beer, the Ocean Alley Ale.

The tropical pale ale pours bright gold while maintaining the brewer’s signature cloudy appearance. It features an 8 per cent ABV, with citrus notes complemented by malty characters, designed for those seeking a “sessionable-style” beer.

Coopers MD Michael Shearer said the brewery collaborated closely with the band to create a brew that blends music and beer culture.

“The band worked with our brewers on the flavour profile and hop selection, as well as contributing to the packaging design, which features a surfing-inspired coat of arms,” said Shearer.

“After plenty of tastings, we’ve crafted an easy-drinking beer that captures the true vibes of Ocean Alley.”

To mark the launch, Coopers will host a party with Ocean Alley on April 6 at The Royal in Bondi, with entry on a first-come, first-served basis.

For those unable to attend, Coopers is running a competition offering winners the chance to see Ocean Alley perform in Los Angeles or London. To enter, customers must purchase a pint or four-pack of Coopers Ocean Alley Ale and visit coopers.com.au.

The limited-edition Coopers Ocean Alley Ale is available in 375ml cans and 50-litre kegs.
