Liquor distributor Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has added Lyre’s to its portfolio, effective next month.
Patrick Borg, MD, Amber Beverage Group, said the acquisition would help improve Lyre’s nationwide reach while reinforcing the company’s position in the non-alc category.
“By joining forces, Lyre’s is poised to broaden its reach, while solidify its status as a leader in the alcohol-free spirits category in our market,” he said.
Founded in 2019, Lyre’s offers a range of 13 non-alcoholic spirits, five ready-to-drink cocktails, and a non-alcoholic sparkling option. Its beverages use all-natural flavours and distillates to replicate traditional spirits’ taste, aroma, and appearance.
The company said it also has sustainability in mind, with all products vegan and packaged in 100 per cent recyclable materials.
Lyre’s CEO, David Gimpelson, is optimistic about the partnership, saying it would boost the company’s reach in the market.
“We remain dedicated to providing an authentic and satisfying cocktail experience without compromise, and ABG’s strong distribution network will help us enhance our presence across the country,” he concluded.
