Vietnamese dairy producer Nutifood has entered into a joint venture with Australia’s Viplus Dairy, marking the launch of an international brand, GippsNature.

The joint venture, named Viplus Nutritional Australia, will focus on developing and marketing GippsNature as a premium nutritional brand rooted in Australia’s “nature-first” philosophy.

GippsNature will offer a wide range of products for all age groups, from children to seniors, and is set to launch in Vietnam in the third quarter of this year, with plans to expand globally.

“We’re not just making milk, we’re creating comprehensive nutritional solutions,” Minh Bao Tran, vice chairman of Nutifood, told local sources.

“The soon-to-be-launched GippsNature brand is the result of a long-term strategy between ViPlus Dairy, with its proud 130-year heritage, and Nutifood, which brings innovation and deep insight into the Vietnam market.”

Based in Gippsland, ViPlus Dairy’s portfolio includes infant formula, adult nutrition powders, and pregnancy and lactation formulas. Meanwhile, Nutifood, founded in 1989, operates six factories in Vietnam and one in Sweden, with brands including Grow Plus+, Nuvi Grow, Ong Bau Cafe and Nutimilk.
