Aussie Plant Based Co, formerly Fenn Foods, has re-entered the market with nationwide grocery and foodservice distribution, less than a year after entering liquidation.
The business has new listings for its Love Buds brand in Coles supermarkets and a national menu launch with Betty’s Burgers.
CEO Raghu Reddy, who helped steer the revival without any external funding, said the company had undergone an “extensive restructuring” to rebuild its operations and reputation.
“What we’ve achieved in the past nine months has been one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys of my career,” he explains.
“We’ve worked hard to rebuild trust with our partners, and seeing our Love Buds brand expand into Coles and Betty’s Burgers is a huge vote of confidence.”
The brand has launched three new products in Coles, including two plant-based burger SKUs under the Love Buds label and a chilled sausage under its legacy Veef brand. In foodservice, the company is rolling out a new plant-based cheese range.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see our products back where they belong: In national supermarkets and on restaurant menus,” Reddy added.
Aussie Plant Based Co said further distribution expansion is underway, with new product lines in development for Woolworths and rollout plans progressing with Aldi and Costco.
