Coca-Cola Australia has partnered with Bacardi to introduce a ready-to-drink rum mix range, marking the sparkling drink giant’s first alcoholic RTD range in the region.

Offering two flavours, Original and Spiced, the rum mix range will be available in 330ml cans with an ABV of 4.8 per cent and selected licensed venues nationally this month.

“Our collaboration with Bacardi, synonymous with great taste and good times, allows us to do just that in a truly exciting new way,” said Matthias Blume, Coca-Cola Australia’s VP of RTD.

“Until now, no other alcoholic RTD has been mixed with Coca-Cola, so this marks a significant milestone not just for the brand, but for Australians who have long enjoyed Coca-Cola as their favourite mixer.”

In 1998, Bacardi acquired John Dewar & Sons and Bombay Sapphire from Diageo for $2 billion.

This month, Coca-Cola launched AI-driven vending machines in New Zealand.
