Frozen food brand Authentic Asia CP has expanded its retail distribution in Australia by launching three products in Woolworths stores nationwide.

The new product line consists of Prawn Wonton Soup Ramen & Asian Veg, Prawn Wonton Tom Kha Soup Ramen & Asian Veg, and Thai Spicy Prawn Wonton Kee Mao Noodles. The range features hand-wrapped wontons served in broths or as noodle-based bowls designed for quick preparation.

Before this expansion, the brand’s Australian retail presence was limited to Costco stores, where it continues to maintain distribution.

According to Andrew Turner, director at Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) Australia, the expansion targets consumer demand for convenience food that provides specific flavour profiles and cultural formats.

“We’re seeing strong demand for products that deliver convenience, satisfaction and genuine cultural authenticity. Consumers are no longer willing to compromise on flavour or quality, even when they’re short on time,” said Turner.

To support the retail rollout, the brand is utilising a marketing campaign themed ‘Ditch The Passport, your shortcut to authentic Asian flavour’.

Authentic Asia is owned and distributed by CPF Australia. The local entity operates as a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited, a global food corporation headquartered in Thailand with operations extending across Asia, Europe, and the US.

The parent company manages a vertically integrated supply chain focused on the international distribution of ready-to-eat Asian food products.
