Bega Group has expanded its core peanut butter portfolio with the launch of its initial range of flavoured peanut spreads, targeting a growing consumer market segment for sweet, treat-style condiments.

The brand has introduced two dessert-inspired varieties: Creamy Caramel and Marshmallow Raspberry.

Designed for afternoon or late-night snacking, the new peanut spread lineup offers contrasting textures and flavour profiles.

The Creamy Caramel spread features a smooth base for a sweet-and-salty combination, while the Marshmallow Raspberry variety utilises a crunchy texture to replicate a nostalgic rocky road profile, blending roasted peanuts with sweet marshmallow and tangy raspberry flavours.

“We know Australians love Bega Peanut Butter, but they’re also increasingly looking for little moments of indulgence, especially at the end of the day,” said Tess Penfold, brand manager of Bega Peanut Butter.

“With our new Creamy Caramel and Marshmallow Raspberry flavoured peanut spreads, we’ve taken the trusted taste people know and love and dialled it up into something more playful and treat-like – perfect for those end-of-day moments when you want something a bit special.”

The two new additions, sold in 325g jars with an RRP of $6, are available at supermarkets nationwide.

Last month, Bega Group launched Vegemite Kids, a new variant specifically formulated for children, containing 50 per cent less salt.
