Suntory Oceania has added a Pink Lemonade flavour to Maximus’s sports drink portfolio, as the company recorded ‘significant incremental growth’ within the category.

Packaged in the brand’s standard 1-litre bottle at an RRP of $3.15, the product joins the existing core flavour lineup, which includes Blue, Mango Passionfruit, Grape, Red, and Lemonade Ice Block.

The rollout aims to meet consumer demand for familiar flavour profiles within the sports hydration category, following the line’s successful launch of its Maximus Mango Passionfruit.

“Building on the strong success of Maximus Mango Passionfruit, a fan favourite, which delivered significant incremental growth to the category, we have continued to innovate with the launch of another unique flavour designed to stand out,” said Lisa Pearce at Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania.

“At a time when consumers are increasingly seeking comfort in familiar and nostalgic flavour profiles amid ongoing uncertainty, Pink Lemonade taps into that shift and delivers a taste experience that feels both reassuringly recognisable and refreshingly new,” said Pearce.

The product is distributed exclusively through BP service stations and IGA supermarkets, before rolling out nationally across broader grocery, petrol, and convenience channels next month.
