OMG Group is securing $1.5 million in fresh funding, with beverage manufacturer Slades Beverages taking a $350,000 strategic equity stake.
The placement was priced at 0.7 cents per share and will support OMG’s growth initiatives, including inventory, product launches and working capital.
Slades’ investment marks its first equity stake in a brand it manufactures. The company is also set to become OMG’s oat milk manufacturing partner, with the closer relationship expected to deliver production and supply chain efficiencies as volumes increase.
OMG plans to use part of the proceeds to secure additional matcha supply and support the rollout of three new ‘Proatein’ products into Woolworths later this year.
The company will also offer eligible shareholders the opportunity to participate in a share purchase plan targeting a further $250,000. Directors have committed approximately $170,000, subject to shareholder approval.
OMG CEO Alex Aleksic said the capital raising would give the company more flexibility to pursue growth opportunities.
“With our expanded Woolworths ranging, the launch of Omura Matcha and Matcha Mode and strong sales momentum carrying into FY27, the additional capital leaves OMG well positioned to continue scaling the business and to achieve cashflow breakeven,” Aleksic added.
The funding follows strong FY26 results, with OMG reporting revenue growth of 48 per cent to $6.13 million.
