Vienna-based hydration brand Waterdrop has expanded its functional beverage line across 7-Eleven nationwide with two new flavours.
The rollout features three-pack units of two product lines: Berry Recharge and Vitamin Apple, priced at $7, across 150 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
Berry Recharge is a sugar-free, calorie-free formulation designed for rapid rehydration and contains essential electrolytes and vitamins.
Vitamin Apple is also a sugar-free drink cube formulated with natural fruit and plant extracts for daily baseline hydration with vitamins.
Waterdrop’s MD of ANZ, Catherine Dix, said that entering convenience retail aligns with consumer demand for accessible products, adding that Australian customers increasingly prioritise daily hydration alongside reduced environmental impact.
Waterdrop’s lineup offers flavour cubes designed to dissolve in water, which the company says can reduce plastic waste by up to 98 per cent compared to pre-packaged 500ml liquid bottles.
According to the company, since its Australian entry in 2023, which introduced its functional beverage cube, Microdrinks, the brand has grown into an eight-figure business locally.
“We’ve seen an incredible response to Waterdrop in Australia, and 7-Eleven feels like a natural next step,” said Dix.
“It’s all about convenience, putting Waterdrop in front of a super engaged and new audience and taking us another step closer to making better hydration accessible everywhere.”
