Peters Ice Cream has expanded its Drumstick range by launching Anzac Biscuit flavour across major supermarkets nationwide.

The product features a biscuit-flavoured centre with Anzac biscuit pieces, caramel syrup, and biscuit crumb toppings, combined with butter, caramel, and toffee flavours.

According to Andrea Hamori, head of marketing at Peters Ice Cream, the company sought to translate familiar Australian flavours into a frozen format by combining two traditional food concepts.

To use the term ‘Anzac’ for the new flavour, Peters Ice Cream secured approval from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

In addition, the manufacturer made a donation to Legacy Australia Inc coinciding with the launch, which will help the organisation in supporting the families of veterans through its ongoing community programs.

“Legacy Australia is very grateful to Peters Ice Cream for their generous donation in celebration of the launch of their Anzac biscuit-inspired Drumstick,”  said Graham Boyd, CEO of Legacy Australia Inc.

The Drumstick Anzac Biscuit four-packs are available at Woolworths, Coles, and independent grocers for an RRP of $9.90.

Single cones will be sold at convenience stores starting October 19, at an RRP of $5.
