Good Drinks Australia has entered into a distribution agreement with global beverage company Molson Coors to exclusively sell its brands in Australia.
The Molson Coors brands include Miller Chill, Coors, Miller Genuine Draught and Molson Canadian. The company sells more than 15 million litres of beer annually across more than 100 countries.
The partnership will provide Good Drinks Australia (GDA) with an opportunity to access a broader liquor market and develop its market shares on the east coast of Australia.
Molson Coors APAC regional director, Shaun Morton, said Australia is a priority market for the company.
“Good Drink Australia’s local market expertise and nationwide distribution coverage provide an excellent platform from which to develop our portfolio,” he said.
John Hoedemaker, MD of Molson Coors, said the partnership is a game-changer for the business as it will help grow the company’s brands in the Australian beer market.
The Molson Coors brands will be manufactured by Coopers Premium Beverages and will not affect GDA’s production capacities.
The commercial collaboration is expected to deliver an additional $35-$40 million in revenue and $3-$4 million EBITDA annually for listed Good Drinks Australia.
