Yoghurt brand Coyo has launched a new range of plant-based frozen yoghurt made with real fruit, and using coconut as its yoghurt base, in place of dairy.

The new Real Fruit Frozen Yoghurt range is available in two flavours: Mango and Wild Berry.

Each tub of frozen yoghurt is dairy-free, gluten-free, and made with 1 billion “clinically researched probiotics and chicory fibre” to support a healthier gut.

Coyo co-founder Sandra Gosling said using coconut rather than fillers like water as a base also provides an “unparalleled smooth, creamy taste”.

She said the company wants to break the stigma that opting for dairy-free means sacrificing taste and health benefits.

“We started Coyo over a decade ago with a dream to create real food that you would make in your kitchen for your own family that is nutrient-rich and made with care.

“Today, we’re proud to continue that legacy by maintaining our standards to use only certified organic ingredients, crafting each product in our purpose-built facility, and remaining a 100 per cent family-owned Australian business.”

Coyo’s dairy-free frozen yoghurt range is available in 500ml tubs at select independent retailers around Australia.
