Pepsi has unveiled Bubly, a new no-sugar sparkling water, in Australia – five years after it found its way into stores in North America.
The launch marks the first time in 30 years that the company has introduced a new beverage outside its core brands in Australia.
Bubly comes in five flavours – pineapple, lime, blackberry, raspberry, and passionfruit – and contains no artificial sweeteners, flavours or calories.
With more consumers choosing low and no-sugar beverages, the company said Bubly is set to expand and “shake up” the sparkling water category with a “fun twist”.
Kyle Faulconer, CEO at PepsiCo ANZ, said the launch enhances the company’s commitment to providing healthier options to consumers.
“We have made significant investments to be a leader in promoting and encouraging consumers to select healthier beverage options and ensuring they have access to these options right across our brand portfolio,” remarked Faulconer
Thirty years ago, the company launched its no-sugar cola Pepsi Max in Australia and is now the most popular brand in its beverage portfolio.
Bubly is available for RRP $16.50 for an eight-pack in major retailers and RRP $3 per can in petrol and convenience outlets nationwide.
