Consumers can now devour Herbert Adams’ new pie creations – Black Angus Beef and Butter Chicken pies.
“With winter here, we are seeing the premium quality pie category growing rapidly. The relaunch of the lovingly premiumised Herbert Adams pies has generated significant growth for the category,” said Anand Surujpal, GM of Marketing and Innovation at Patties Foods.
“We are thrilled to further elevate the pie segment by introducing a new tier of premium pies, Herbert Adam’s Artisan range to consumers with two delectable flavours that are driven by consumer desire for small batch artisan foods.”
The new Artisan Range is the first time the pie company has created a smaller batch for Australians. Herbert Adams said the pies are truly artisan, cooked in smaller batches that are hand finished. The pie-makers craft each product by simmering the pie filling, before wrapping it in a golden flaky puff pastry, and hand finishing each one with a sprinkling of black and white sesame seeds and paprika. All pies contain Australian sourced beef or chicken.
Herbert Adams relaunched the pie brand in June 2018.
